Our Mission Statement

It is the vision of Waterview Elementary School to fulfill our mandate as a public school, helping students attain the highest possible standards as established by our school board and our state.

In recognizing the need for a strong academic base, teachers (and staff) will stress skills in reading, writing, mathematics, science, social studies, and technology. The arts and physical education will be recognized for their importance in the development of the whole individual.

What we believe:

  • We believe our school should provide a quality education for all students.
  • We believe in the important contribution parents, volunteers, and community partners can make, and we actively seek their participation in providing a quality program.
  • We believe our school should be a place where each student leaves with a sense of accomplishment and a desire to return the next day.
